DAYCARE ADD ON SERVICES

Neighborhood Walk

$15

Walking exercises the mind as well as the body. Watching wildlife, exploring new paths, smelling new smells, seeing other people with their pets, and so on, are great mental stimulation for your dog. .

Chew Time

$5

Chewing accomplishes a number of things. For young dogs, it's a way to relieve pain caused by incoming teeth. For older dogs, it's nature's way of keeping jaws strong and teeth clean. Chewing also combats boredom and can relieve mild anxiety or frustration. We will have a rotating selection of chews for all ages and diets.

Treadmill Run

$20

A dog learns to focus on the moving track during treadmill workouts and to keep pace, which engages their mind and body. It's also a great way to add variety to your dog's existing exercise routine.

Lead Handler / Daycare Supervisor

Julia (She/Her)

Julia is our longest-serving employee, having been with us since our Greenlake days. Julia's experience in the dog care industry is extensive as well. Having worked nearly a decade at various daycares, her deep understanding of dog behavior helps us daily with Trial Days and keeping our pack safe and fulfilled.

“I have been obsessed with dogs my whole life! Working with dogs at dog daycare is my dream job and l am so lucky to get to do what I love every day. I am particularly passionate about pack dynamics or the way groups of dogs interact with each other. I believe in a relationship based approach and I love getting to know each dog in our care personally. In my free time I enjoy training and playing with my own dogs (both rescue mutts, Scully and Banshee) and furthering my education on dog behavior and training.”

Front Desk Concierge / Handler

Marvis (They/Them)

We’re thrilled to have Marvis part of our Luna’s team to help us welcome clients every morning and offer email support!

"Hi there, I'm Marvis! My experience in the pet industry started as young kid.

Growing up with dogs, cats, and farm animals in Gig Harbor, WA, I pride myself on the passion us PNW pet parents have for our four legged friends. The last eight years I have worked in holistic pet nutrition, but am so excited to dive deeper into animal behavior and keeping your pups happy in our enriching daycare environment! In my free time you can find me caring for my silly pug Carl and my two cats, gardening, and playing pinball and pool at your local dive. We look forward to loving on your dog soon!”

Handler

Halle (She/Her)

Client turned employee, Halle, brings a special sense of humor with her and brightens everyone’s day.

“Hi! I'm Halle and this is my son Mikey. You've probably seen him curled up asleep on our play structures. We were clients for a couple years before I started working at Luna's, and I feel so lucky that I get to spend my work day with my boy and all of his friends, both dog and human!”

Handler

James (He/Him)

James is a highly experienced pack leader at another local daycare, and we’re lucky enough that he loves being surrounded by dogs so much that he shares some of his time with us. When James isn’t caring for dozens of dog at a time, he’s back at home with his two lively Samoyeds. His absolute favorite breed!
